Queen Nora Gates
Introducing our 2026 Jefferson County Fair and Rodeo Queen Nora Gates! Nora Gates is the 16-year-old daughter of Brian and Lori Gates. She is currently a junior at Redmond Proficiency Academy, where she has already begun taking college courses alongside her high school course work. She is currently competing in her third year on the LaPine High School OHSET team, serving as a second-year captain, as well as her third year in high school rodeo and fourth year in 4-H. Nora has a deep-seated passion for the agriculture community and everything it represents., especially the sense of community, hard work, and support that comes with it. Nora’s goal is to graduate from high school with her associate's degree in science and pursue a degree in Veterinary Medicine.
