Jefferson County Public Works Department is soliciting bids for the construction of alternate road exit. The work will consist of all stages of road building including but not limited to surveying, sub base preparation, ditch excavation, supplying, hauling and placing aggregate base and hot-mix asphalt concrete (HMAC) over approximately 5,050 lineal feet on SW Quail Road, located within Crooked River Ranch, Oregon.
Sealed bids are to be submitted by mail to Jefferson County Public Works Department, PO Box 709, Madras, OR 97741 or hand delivered to Jefferson County Public Works Department 715 SW Grizzly Road, Madras, Oregon by Monday, May 21, 2018 at 3:30 pm. The bid must indicate contractors’ name on the front of the sealed envelope. Bids will be opened at the time of the bid close.
Jefferson County Public Works Department will award the contract to the contractor/supplier whose quote or proposal will best serve the interest of the County, taking into account price as well as considerations including, but not limited to, experience, expertise, satisfactory record of performance, product functionality, suitability for a particular purpose and contractor responsibility and is in compliance with applicable law. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities and errors in such bids, each in accordance with Oregon law.
